  1. The recent controversy about the so called "Ground Zero Mosque" has reignited the discussion about the persecution of Muslims in the US.

But many Christians also feel unfairly maligned for their religious beliefs.

Is Islam an inherently violent religion?
Are Christians being persecuted as well?

    Let's separate fact from fiction.

Sounds off with your thoughts below.

  2. Regarding Rekers and Rent Boy article...

I don't believe Rekers for one minute...if he had surgery, why not hire a caregiver or a nurse?

  3. People use religion to perpetrate violence. Think back to the crusades where the Christians rode across Europe to the holy land, killing all non Christians in their path.
The Spanish Inquisition used Christianity to kill a large number of peoples, including Jews living in Spain.
However, we would not say that all Christians are killers based on history. In the same way we have to consider that the Muslim faith is no a one size fits all, and there are some fanatics but many very peaceful people.

Is it true that in the United States that there is still such religious intolerance that people have to resort to the legal system to get protection?
