  3. the more mentally healthy you are the more productive a person will become. A balanced growth means mental health, both academically and emotionally. I watched the interview couple of times. you know when I was younger I learned about the brain, functionality and exercises. relaxing the brain is important. injecting these ideas in school's curriculum is vital. students need to know beyond what science teach them in math and chemistry. teaching them well being ,to me, is more important than other subjects. we might part in our futures and careers. but we will always be twined in well being. and will always need to understand how to manage stress, fear and anxieties in a healthy way.

in these days, children are more susceptible to life than before. issues are only growing and children are getting more fearful and quiet. the more we develop as a nation the more children will carry more responsibility and a feeling of pressure. so why not teach them how to balance themselves. i can tell you for sure that it helped me tremendously as a kid, and i still teach my friends and students on the validity of our brain, and how to manage our emotions and well being.

    Thanks for sharing.

  4. This was indeed an enlightening interview Brad and Noam; thank you! The work that the Hawn Foundation is doing is simply miraculous! I remember my early school days and every subject was crammed into the entire day: Math, Science, History...it was REALLY brain overload. Plus, the amount of homework that I had was astronomical! I had to go to my parents for help sometimes. We can't function this way and I'm glad to see that Goldie and her foundation are doing something about this.

  5. Court Street Market's "Coppee Pot," Coffee Pot Cafe's "Deluxe" and Legacy Sandwich's "Legacy Deluxe" were put to the taste test by the firefighters of Bangor Fire Department's Central Station. The Coffee Pot court case involves the Coffee Pot Cafe at 652 coffee cup which alleged in a 10-count civil complaint filed last month in U.S. District Court.
